The number of people diagnosed with asbestos caused diseases in the U.S. continues to increase. Experts believe 60,000 mesothelioma deaths will occur between 2010 and 2030.

David L. Amell

David L. Amell was born in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1973.  He graduated from Kalamazoo College in 1996, and the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2003.  While in law school he co-founded the Labor and Employment Law Student Association and served as Secretary of the National Lawyers Guild. 
 
David is a seasoned litigator, having handled complex personal injury and wrongful death cases for close to a decade.  Recent accomplishments include serving as counsel in a case that yielded $6 million in settlements for a 62-year-old physical therapist who contracted cancer through her custodian husband's occupational exposure to asbestos.  In another occupational exposure case that David litigated, a 55-year-old pipefitter received more than $4.5 million.
