Stephen J.Healy

Stephen J. Healy was born in Oakland in 1961. He graduated in 1984 from California State University at Hayward, where he was a speech communication major. In college, Stephen was President of the Student Body in his senior year and a member of a college debate team ranked 13th in CEDA National Standings.

He earned a law degree in 1987 from Lewis and Clark College of the Law in Portland, Oregon, where Stephen was a Moot Court finalist. Stephen worked during law school representing recipients of Aid to Families with Dependant Children in administrative law hearings while employed at the Multnomah County Legal Aid Society, and he later defended indigent persons accused of misdemeanor crimes in his third year of law school while working at the Multnomah County Public Defender's Office. Stephen is or has been a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Nevada (inactive), The Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Consumar Attorneys of Los Angeles, the Nevada County Bar Association, and the Washoe County Bar Association.
