Mesothelioma Treatment Update
Great News! Dr. Gill at USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center has
begun Phase 1 clinical trials of a treatment that recently received FDA
government approval called Veglin for victims of Asbestos caused
Mesothelioma. Veglin is taken intravaneously and not chemotherapy. It
has minimal side effects.
Mesothelioma is a cancer of the lining of the lung caused by
asbestos exposure and takes anywhere from 15-40 years to contract. Only
about 4,000 people in the US contract this terrible cancer including
those that working in various construction trades such as insulaters,
pipefitters, plumbers, air conditioning and heating, boilermakers,
bricklayers, plasters, tapers, labor sheet metal workers, ironworkers
plus those who work around brake work, shipyards, home remodeling and
movie sets. Wives and children have also been known to contract this
cancer from asbestos exposure on clothing while doing laundry, which
