The number of people diagnosed with asbestos caused diseases in the U.S. continues to increase. Experts believe 60,000 mesothelioma deaths will occur between 2010 and 2030.

Anya Fuchs

Anya Fuchs was born and raised in Berkeley, California.  Coming from a close family of writers and teachers, Anya was raised with an emphasis on the importance of social equality and civil rights.  In the nine years that she has been an attorney, she has devoted her career to toxic tort litigation, representing plaintiffs who develop and often die from serious illnesses, including cancer, as a result of exposure to toxic products.   

Anya obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, with a double major in Sociology and Black Studies, and a J.D. from University of San Francisco, School of Law.  As a member of the firm’s writing department, she is primarily responsible for legal research, legal drafting, and law and motion work, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial motions and appeals.
